Emancipation proclamation (1 janv. 1863 – 22 sept. 1863)
Description:
The Emancipation Proclamation was issued by Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863. The Proclamation freed all the enslaved people in the South. This changed the status of 3 million enslaved people.
