Description:
CIA (central intelligence agency) helped to overthrow the Iranian government
-coup was successful mostly because of CIA involvement/money
-others involved were the British
-British wanted to overthrow government so they could get money from oil production
-CIA and M16 came up with plan to stage a mass protest supporting communism in the street
-would then would come out with guns and weapons to save Iran from the threat of communists
