Description:
Winston Churchill (from Britain) made his famous Iron Curtain speech. This speech described:
-the new Soviet domination of Eastern Europe
-the communist government established armies to separate it from the rest of Europe (the west)
-only Yugoslavia had some independence, even with a communist leader
-this separation of east from west was called the "Iron Curtain"
