1 janv. 1839 - Matthias Schleiden stated
that different parts of a
plant organism is made
of cells. Along with Schwann
became the first to formulate an
informal belief of the atomic theory
of chemistry. Recognized the importance
of the cell nucleus and observed its connection
with cell division.
