1 janv. 1783 - Treaty of Paris ends the American Revolution
Description:
The Treaty of Paris (1783) is a collection of treaties concluding the American Revolution. One side was signed by representatives of Great Britain, and the other was signed by representatives from U.S, France, and Spain. Britain made the U.S boundaries all the way to the Mississippi River, but kept Canada for themselves with guaranteed access to Newfoundland fisheries for Americans. The Congress said that the loyalists should be treated fairly, and gave back their confiscated land.
