Description:
In chapter 11, The author goes back to the time when Bruno lived in Berlin. Father had just become Commandant, and Hitler visits their house. Hitler is extremely rude to the whole family. Bruno is forced to go upstairs, and while he is gone, Hitler tells father that he must move to Out-With, and bring his family. Full of fear, father agreed, and then Hitler leaves without further discussion. This showed that Father was really willing to just drop everything to be connected with this man, and willing to drop anything for his belief.
