Description:
This would serve ass the beginning of the end for the confederates. Robert E Lee was having success with is army and continued his movement north, eventually they ran into Union forces and the battle broke out. This would be the deadliest battle of the war as there would be 50,000 casualties. The three day battle ended with Lee's forces retreating.
