Description:
After the Winter of 1862-1863, about 260 men were brought to a compound camp. Where they would spend three years before getting banished from Minnesota. Other Dakota from Fort Snelling were sent up the river to a new reservation in Dakota territory where the land was dry and terrible for farming. Then the Government placed a law That makes it illegal for Dakota to live in Minnesota, and gets rid of agreements from treaties.
