Description:
In early September Sibley wants Dakota to surrender, but little Crow is persistent and does not want to surrender and Sibley is furious. In mid September Sibley and his troops camp out at wood lake and the Dakota plan an attack, but are found and they both come to battle at the wood lake. The battle results in a defeat for the Dakota.
