Even though several of the Mars rover and exploration trips failed, the desire to further understand the big red planet has not subsided. With each little success, the fever becomes a tad bit stronger. The first attempt to gather information on Mars in 1962 failed, but this wasn’t the end as more and more missions were sent out, resuming in the 1970s.
