6 mai 1882 - Chinese Exclusion Act
Description:
This was one of the first laws restricting immigration into the United States. It was signed by President Chester A. Arthur and prevented Chinese labourers from entering. This Act was repealed in 1943 with the passage of the Magnuson Act. This allowed a quota of 105 Chinese immigrants to enter the United States per year.
