1 janv. 1950 - Foxtrot's biggest seller and rock and roll.
Description:
As the new genre of music (rock and roll) came out, people were at first uncertain what dance would be best fit for the music. Decca Records initially labelled its rock and roll releases as "foxtrots", most notably "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and His Comets. Rock Around the Clock went on to become Foxtrot's biggest seller selling over 25 million copies.
