Description:
Brenna reveals to Matthew that his "apprenticeship" is actually her testing him to see if he is worthy to take her spot as Commander, and she believes that he is. She warns the young lieutenant that, but she also confirms that she believes that he could become a chief. She finishes by asserting that she wants them to continue to be friends, and the two of them hug. Later that day, she reveals to the other commanders that she is going to resign due to familial reasons, but that she will return one day. Then, she requests a trial to see who will take her spot and affirms Matthew as her candidate.
