Description:
During the Porfiriato modernization and economic development were sought, at any cost, by the elite. Diaz took several measurements in order to achieve these. One of these measurements was the opportunity for foreign investments with Britain, France, and Germany. Diaz also established a Mexican credit in the United States and Europe. As well an increase of the telegraph, railroads, mining, was sought. Lastly, the industry and the market were impulsed.
This led to a great economic growth and development of the country.
