Description:

After Britain was angered by the Boston Tea party, a series of acts were enacted to punish the Massachusetts people, including the closing of the Boston harbor until the tea was paid for, weakening of the Massachusetts legislature, allowing royal officials to be tried in Britain rather than in the Colonies, and an expansion of the Quartering acts.
