Description:
For many Canadians, the eight-game series between Team Canada and the national team of the Soviet Union in 1972 was the greatest moment in Canada's sporting history.
A total of eight games where played, four in Canada and four in Russia. The games went relatively back and forth between the two teams, with a range in scores. Canada won the final game 6-5 to win the championship title against the Soviet Union.
