The topic i did my LTP on was the history of the US border patrol. This affected immigration in the US greatly by securing the borders and reducing the amount of illegal immigrants. It should do this in theory and it does but there have been many controversies because of the shootings that have happened. today i will tell you a brief history of the border patrol and changes it's had since it was first established in 1924.
