SMS is a text messaging on a phone, to exchange short messages between mobile phones. The first text message was sent on the 3rd of December 1992 on a PC because mobile phones didn't have keyboards at the time.It was sent to Vodafone director Richard Jarvis and said 'Merry Christmas".
