5 janv. 1957 - Eisenhower Doctrine Signed.
Description:
With the Eisenhower doctrine signed it was then that a Middle Eastern country could request American economic assistance or aid from U.S. military forces if it was being threatened by armed aggression. This was again a way that the American government was trying to maintain the spread of communism and contain communism from being a factor to their everyday lives.
