The Beatles were an English rock band that came together in 1960 and quickly rose to fame, becoming one of the most influential bands in history. They experimented with multiple music styles including, and not limited to: Pop, Ballads, Indian Music to Psychadella and Hard Rock. The tour of The Beatles in Australia in 1964 had cause a massive gathering of Australian fans with over 300,000 people attending in order to see them perform. By the time they had left, they had influenced Australia's young acts to rise to fame and gave way for Australia's Sound to quickly internationalise.
