24 janv. 1774 - The Intolerable Act

Description:

The Intolerable Acts were the Quebec Act which was where Canada extended it´s border, the Boston port act which was where they closed the Boston harbor, the Quartering act which was where the Americans had to take British soldiers into their homes and take care of them, and the Massachusetts Government act which made it so that Massachusetts couldn´t self govern anymore. This lead to the first and second congress because it was a huge mess. So they had to create some kind of government so that when there was a war there would be some kind of order to everything including the military. This affected the Constitutional Convention because they had to decide if that would be something that they would want to keep in their constitution or if they wanted to get rid of those specific rules. If the Intolerable Act hadn´t existed then they never would have had so many angry farmers.
