This campaign was basically an approval to let the CIA kill whomever they suspected to be a perpetrator to 9/11. This is legal because of what was called authorization for use of military force, which was a law that was passed by congress in the wake of 9/11. Basically the CIA and the US sent drones for killings. those who were target fled from Afghanistan to Pakistan and Yemen. A journalism reported that there where about 400 drone strike on Pakistan deployed by The CIA, and 66-184 strikes on Yemen by the pentagon. Since 2004, 957 people have died by drone strikes. 200 of them were children. However, this is what we know, they could have done a lot more strikes.
Costs: Innocent people can get caught in the crossfire between the bad guys and the drone.
