7 sept. 1927 - Autumn Harvest Uprising
Description:
In response to the White Terror, the CCP resisted through the Autumn Harvest Uprising, led by Mao Zedong in Hunan, his hometown province. However, like many of the skirmishes and forms of resistance made by the Communists, they were all quashed due to them being largely outnumbered. After the failure of the White Terror the CCP fled to the mountains of the Jiangxi Soviet/province. Here they would adopt guerrilla warfare, prolonging their survival as an army and party in the process.
