Description:
The Dred Scott case was a case that occurred because on Mr. Scott's son was born in a free state and according to the law that would make him a free individual but because of conflict between the north and the south he and his family were still considered slaves. This case was one of the first things to spark the civil war betwwne the northa nd the south which would ultimately declare slavery a bad thing.
