11 mars 2011 - Tohoku Earthquake/Tsunami
Description:
A earthquake struck near the coast of Japan and triggered tsunami waves. After this the nuclear reactor which was damaged by the first barrage of waves due to the earthquake. It became known as the Fukushima Daiichi Disaster.
This was a fairly recent important event due to the fact that the nuclear radiation would still be altering and mutating the surrounding wildlife and even humans who would have been exposed long enough.
