The Quenari launched their greatest offensive of the war, bringing the Barbarian War to its most brutal and dangerous stage. The attack began with the capture of Värnes once again. However, the Quenari did not stop there. They advanced along the streets and highways of Inostropia, pushing deeper into the country than ever before. Their forces reached OhioGlobus5404’s casino and even penetrated the Backrooms Laboratory, occupying both locations. The Inostropian Army immediately responded, but the scale of the invasion made the fighting extremely difficult. It took nearly two hours of continuous combat to recapture all of the occupied territories. Yet the Quenari were not finished. In an even larger offensive, a massive army broke through the Inostropian City Wall and occupied the entire Old Town, as well as the Great Bunker of Inostropia, the shelter that had famously been used during the Zombie Apocalypse. The situation became critical. The counteroffensive came close to failing until OhioGlobus5404 deployed his napalm bombs. The attack succeeded in halting the Quenari advance, but it also set large parts of the Old Town ablaze. After four hours of intense fighting, the reconquest was finally completed. The Quenari were driven out, but the victory came at a high cost. The soldiers were exhausted, and the historic Old Town was left burning. For another hour, firefighters and volunteers worked to extinguish the flames. Eventually, the last fires were put out, and the Old Town was secured once more. Despite the devastation, it remained standing and was restored as a safe and beautiful part of Inostropia again.
