Description:
Cerdic and Cynric siege British king Natanleod. After an extended siege, they overrun the fortress, killing the king and his men. Arthur arrives to relieve them too late, but for three days puts the Saxons to the blade. The leaders flee, but their army is decimated. 5000 Britons die by the end, but an equal number of Saxons die, which leads to a period of self-imposed peace.Added to timeline:
