Edward VI was Henry VIII son. Edward became the king of England and Ireland at just 9 years old, so he had to be guided by adult advisers. His adult advisors were devout Protestant and they introduced Protestant reforms to the English Church. Edward only reigned for 6 years because he was constantly ill.
