Description:

1848年，美国浸信会邀请在曼谷传教的高德（J.Goddard）修订“马士曼译本”。经罗尔梯（EdwardC.Lord）修订，1863年在上海出版。1868年，在罗尔梯的帮助下，高德又翻译了《旧约》，与《新约》合订为《圣经新旧遗全书》，史称“高德译本”。
