Description:

After having a religious vision, he is dubbed a prophet by other slaves and interprets an eclipse as a sign to rise up against his master. He kills his master, and leads a violent slave revolt that kills 60 white people. Increased fear of slave revolts.

Maria Stewart's Pamphlet "Religion and the Pure Principles of Morality" is released the same year. It highlights the hypocrisy of white christian's hatred of black people using biblical references.
