feb 6, 1922 - Washington Naval Treaty, also known as the Five-Power Treaty, signed by the USA, Britain, France, Italy and Japan with the goal of limiting naval armaments. The treaty will end if any signatory gives notice of its intent to “denounce” the treaty by 12/31/1934
