Description:

A revolt involving both sides of the slavery debate due to each of them flooding into the new territories wanting to sway the vote, and it eventually got very violent with murder and guerrilla warfare. This event caused extreme divide between pro-slavery and anti-slavery forces, a major cause of the Civil War.
