On August 16th, 2021, devastating bombing attacks destroyed the Old Town of Inostropia. The destruction opened space for the construction of the new capital of the Union, and for many years it seemed as if the historic district had been lost forever. However, the Old Town had not truly disappeared. A backup from July 26th, 2021, had preserved it. Although the area shown in the backup had already suffered some damage due to the ongoing First World War, the heart of the Old Town remained intact. Over the years, several attempts were made to preserve its legacy by restoring individual buildings or transferring historic structures into the modern city. Yet none of these efforts could fully recreate what had once existed. Then, on October 12th, 2024, more than three years after its destruction, InfinityZoom187 took a decisive step. Using a WorldEdit program, he imported the entire archived Old Town directly from the 2021 backup into the original Inostropia world. The result was remarkable. In a single operation, the historic district that had been preserved in archives for three years returned to reality. Streets, buildings, and landmarks that had been considered lost once again stood within the capital. The restoration not only revived an important piece of Inostropian history but also gave Inostropia City a completely new appearance, reconnecting the modern capital with its historical roots.
