apr 8, 1904 - Entente Cordial
Description:
The entente cordiale was an alliance between Britain and France formed to settle colonial issues between them. It had no military commitments and ended 100 years of conflicts between the two countries. The alliance upset Germany, which was trying to isolate Britain, but it did not last long because of the Russo-Japanese war, as Russia was Frances's ally and Japan was Britain’s.
