When the article of confederation was weak people started to doubt how the government would survive especially farmers, so there was a guy who's name shay and he was a farmer who gathered farmers and they protested in Massachusetts due to high state taxes and economic issues in the government, however these efforts and rebellions were not effective because it did not lasted very long.
