These 1860 Fairfax County property maps superimposed over a modern county map show that in the mid-nineteenth century George Riley, James C. Denty, and Anna Maria Fitzhugh owned the land that would become the Saratoga subdivision of single-family homes. Denty owned the bulk of the land.
