jan 9, 1868 - 9. Convict transportation ends

Description:

In January 1868, the British sent one last convict transportation to Western Australia which had 269 convicts on board. After the British and Australia government decided to enclose transportation of convicts to Australia. After 80 straight years of convict transportation it had ended due to Australia’s some purpose as a prison had exceeded too much of a high population the colony couldn’t support with food, water and shelter. After the convicts had moved down to Western Australia, themselves or their descended children had learnt to become law-abiding citizens while the other colonies still believed for Western Australia to have a bad reputation for the convicts and how they act. The people who lived there were safe and wanted to have their reputation build up higher and better.
