Description:

The English Classical School was the first free secondary school. The students at this school were males who were not intending on going to college. Their focuses were practical lessons and teaching subjects that the students would be able to use later on in life. I relate this to CTE classes today. Many students do not believe college is meant for them and do not need these college preparation classes. I think this sparked a new way of viewing education that carries into our CTE programs today.
