Description:

France would seek to gain control over Genosha from English control. The France would create a siege of the island with no external resources being provided to the island. Eventually, a group of individuals who called themselves the Magistrates, would declare their independence from England. They would utilize the mutant population's abilities to battle the surrounding French siege.

With the victory over the French, Genosha would be recognized as an independent nation with the use of mutants being hidden from the rest of the world.
