Description:

However, in 657, Philippikos the Armenian led an army luckily defeating Mu'awiya near Ephesus, and driving him back from the coast. Despite the victory, Mu'awiya still taken advantage of the Roman move, and had marched south along the cost, taking Attaleia and securing the entire southern coast of Asia Minor.
