The Death of Justinian II and succeed of young Tiberius III left the Roman Empire into chaos, the throne were changed as quickly as changing clothes. During this period, Arab invasion continued.Late of 650, few thousand Arabs army marching toward Egypt, and soon siege Pelusium, Roman fleets under the command of the Droungarios Romanos the Illyrian with army sailed to Pelusium to reinforce the city, and repelled the Arabs.
