Description:

The Death of Justinian II and succeed of young Tiberius III left the Roman Empire into chaos, the throne were changed as quickly as changing clothes. During this period, Arab invasion continued.

After Iconium, John of Lazika keeps marching, however, he was ambushed near Nyssa, his army were badly beaten, though Slav skirmishers managed to cover the retreat; however, the army was no longer trust John of Lazika and left him being killed by another claimant's army in the latter battle of Bithynia.
