A gunman in a high-rise hotel overlooking the Las Vegas Strip opened fire on a country music festival late Sunday, killing at least 58 people and injuring 515 others in the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. Martin Luther King Jr. would think that "peace is more precious than diamonds or silver or gold." as he states in his acceptance speech for the Nobel Peace Prize, and that we need gun control in America because guns are not a method of self defense anymore they're a mechanism of mass destruction holding back humanity.
