jun 2, 1098 - Christians take Antioch
Description:
"It was on 2 June that the Christians entered the city of Antioch... Those who were christains chanted Kyrie Eleson and other songs praising Go to make it clear to our men that they were not Turks but Christians. The squares in the city were strewn with the bodies of the dying... Status made no difference: boys were killed alongside girls, the young alongside the old and the old alongside the young" (Robert, 147).
