Description:

The General Assembly:

Notes with deep regret the lack of progress on refugee repatriation or compensation as per resolution 194 (III) and the reintegration program per resolution 513 (VI).
Thanks the Commissioner-General, UNRWA staff, specialized agencies, and private organizations for their continued efforts to assist Palestine refugees.
Directs attention to UNRWA's critical financial situation, as reported by the Commissioner-General.
Notes concern over the shortfall in contributions despite efforts to address the budget deficit.
Urges all governments to make generous contributions to meet UNRWA's needs, especially non-contributing and contributing governments.
Directs the Commissioner-General to continue ensuring equitable distribution of relief based on need, including rectifying relief rolls in cooperation with concerned governments.
Regrets the UN Conciliation Commission for Palestine's lack of progress due to the unchanged situation and calls for cooperation from concerned governments.
Calls upon the UN Conciliation Commission for Palestine to intensify efforts to implement paragraph 11 of resolution 194 (III) and to report by 1 October 1967.
