Sebastian Shaw and Harry Leland conduct a coup on the Hellfire Club, claiming the positions of Black and White King respectively. They Court Warren Worthington to join as the White Bishop. They begin replacing members of the club with mutants of high rank and influence, who share the view that mutants are superior and the logical direction for society is one of mutant superiority.
