Abraham Erskine conducts the first successful test of his procedure, in which he bathed the test subject, Wilhelm Lohmer, in steroids and stimulants and his own unique protein cocktail, and used vita rays to stabilize the reaction and force the body to accept the new chemicals as normal. The subject was the first not to die from the procedure.
