43yo; Ernestine was on her way to go shopping at the Topanga Plaza Centre when she pulled her yellow 1969 Plymouth car due to a flat tire in Agoura, CA. She was reported missing later that day by her husband.

Apr. 25: Ernestine's car was found locked and abandoned near Agoura Rd and Chesboro Rd on the Ventura freeway

May 27: Ernestine's body was discovered by Boy Scouts hiking near Yerba Buena Rd, off the Pacific Coast Highway ~1mi north of the LA County line, and 6mi from where her vehicle was located.

Due to the severe decomposition of her remains, her COD could not determined. However, authorities strongly suspected that she had been kidnapped from her disabled vehicle and that she had then been sexually assaulted and murdered.

Ernestine's case is thought to be potentially linked to those of Robin Graham (1970), Rose Tashman (1970), Cheri Jo Bates (1966), Cindy Lee Mellin (1970), Kathleen Johns (1970), Christine Marie Eastin (1971), and Mona Jean Gallegos (1975)
