Later that same morning, at 6:30am, her nearly nude body was discovered by a fisherman alongside Pleasant Grove Rd and Steelhead Creek, ~0.5mi north of West Riego Rd in Sutter County. This is 15mi north of the last sighting of her, and the site of her murder was likely closer to where she was last seen than to where her body was found.

She had been stabbed 29 times in the stomach, chest, and arm. She was wearing a miniskirt and bikini-style briefs. A blouse was discovered nearby.

She is in the Wikipedia page for SRHM, though some speculate that she was killed by the Zodiac. One of Feusi's sons (she had 5 kids) thinks that she was killed by his father. In 2011, Feusi's daughter Angela Darlene Feusi McAnulty was convincted of torturing, beating, and starving her own 15yo daughter Jeanette Marie Maples to death in Oregon
