17yo; A student at Sonoma State College, she was last seen leaving Jack London Hall, 780 East Cotati Ave, after telling friends she was studying with that she was heading home (395 East Cotati Ave, ~0.25mi, ~15min walk away) at ~8:15pm; left at no later than 9pm

Mar. 20 at ~9:30am: partially nude body found dumped in a roadside gully near Santa Rosa during the equinox; found in a field at Grove's Drying Yard off 3395 Petaluma Hill Rd; had been dragged ~20ft into the field. She was found by Al Grove, owner of the Drying Yard. He called the sheriff's office and reported a, "man or woman lying in the field near the driveway."

She was found lying face-down, head away from the driveway. Her legs were crossed. Her knee-length suede boots were on the body. Her sweater was around her shoulders and her skirt & panties rolled down her legs, partway to her knees; it's possible that they became that way from being dragged from a vehicle along the ground. She was found covered, a full-length dark blue coat having been draped over her body.
(However, I personally wonder why her clothing seemed to be dragged in different directions, as her sweater was pulled up and her skirt was rolled down.)

A brief, preliminary examination of the body revealed a "dent" on the right side of the jaw, a bloody nose, some type of punctures under the chin on the neck, and bruises on the body. Marks on her wrists showed that her hands were tied, or a cord was wrapped around her wrists in order to drag her. Examination also disclosed some scratches and other marks on her body, which are believed to be from being dragged. She had apparently died from "shock due to drug toxicity"; mescaline (a hallucinogenic from cactus) found in her stomach and blood; mescaline overdose is the same COD as Marie Antoinette Anstey

In 1986, Robert Graysmith published a list of 49 confirmed & possible Zodiac victims. The list includes SRHM victims, and murders with some similarties to the SRHM crimes. This includes Blau's murder
